- If it doesn’t fit do not force it. Use appropriate tools for the job.
- Handles are for holding. Do not use tools with broken or missing handles.
- Hammers are for hammering.If you use other tools like files to hammer they could shatter.
- Wear appropriate clothing when working with open flames or torches or in severe weather conditions.
- If your hands are greasy wash them. Oily tools are an accident waiting to happen.
- Tool belts and tool boxes are for tools, not your pockets.
- A screwdriver is not a chisel.
- If you are using sharp tools with edges such as chisels cut away from your body.
- If your tools are broken or aren’t working correctly replace them ASAP.
- Always clean and put your tools away after use for safety and as a courtesy to others.
